Coronavirus update in Andhra Pradesh

Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh have dropped slightly again on Wednesday including deaths as well. In a bulletin released by the state medical and health department on Wednesday, coronavirus tests were performed on 57,716 people in the past 24 hours where 379 people were tested positive, which brings the number of corona infections in the state to 8,79,718. Three people have died of the dreadful virus on Wednesday with two in Krishna district, one in Chittoor and one in YSR Kadapa districts respectively. The death toll has risen to 7,085 across the state.

However the number of discharges in the state has increased slightly. On Tuesday, 412 people fully recovered from the covid‌ 19, and on Wednesday that number rose to 490. With this, 8,68,769 people in the state have now fully recovered from the virus epidemic and discharged while the number of active cases has dropped to 3,864. The government has tested 1,14,15,246 samples so far across the state, the bulletin said.

The highest number of corona cases was reported in Krishna district on Wednesday with 84 cases in a single day on Wednesday while the lowest number of four cases was reported in Vizinagaram.
