Dy CM, MLA participate in Milad-un-Nabi fete

Vijayawada: Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha along with Nandigama MLA M Jaganmohan Rao participated in the birth anniversary celebration of Prophet Mohammed on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Amzath Basha said that the government was supporting Haj pilgrims with Rs 60,000 financial help. He said that for Christians who visit Jerusalem, the State government was also providing financial assistance.

He said that through Rythu Barosa programme the government was supporting farmers and tenant farmers financially. The Deputy Chief Minister further said that education was must for everyone and to create interest among the poor and the weaker section the government launched Amma Vodi programme and every mother with children studying Class I to Class X will get Rs 15,000.
