Education is key to progress: Deputy CM

Vijayawada: Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha Shaik Bepari on Saturday hailed the service rendered Muslim Advocates Association of Andhra Pradesh (MAA AP). He was the chief guest of the 3rdanniversary celebrations of MAA AP here on Saturday.

Addressing the gathering, Amzath Basha said as the Minorities had been facing legal issues because of lack of awareness of law. Appreciating the efforts of MAA AP, the Deputy Chief Minister promised all support to the association.

He said the government was committed to protect Wakf properties and in the days to come a committee would be formed and it would take the advice of MAA AP. Legislative Council Chairman Ahmed Shareef said education was the key to development.

As an advocate he would try to solve various issues in the society. He expressed his delight to be a part of the association. MLC Hafeez Khan said every Muslim should have knowledge aboutlaw and lack of education among Muslims was the cause for many issues in the society.

Responding to the verdict given by the Supreme Court on Babri Masjid, MAA AP president Jawahar Al said they would abide by the judgement. Former minister Asif Basha, Urdu Academy Chairman Nouman, treasure Khalilullah, advocates from across the state and others were present.
