East Godavari district bags Pulse Polio Award

Kakinada: East Godavari district has been selected for the national award for achieving 90 percent of Pulse Polio Immunization Award under Indra Dhanassu programme during 2017-2018. The award will be given to the respective districts on October 31 at a specially convened meeting in New Delhi.

National Health Mission Director Manoj Jahlani sent letters to the District Collectors and immunisation officers to participate in the meeting to receive the awards on October 31.

Meanwhile, Nellore district also selected for the national award. District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy congratulated district medical and health officer Dr B Satya Suseela and district immunization officer Dr D Mallik in his chamber here on Thursday.
