Eluru: SFI, DYFI pay tributes to martyrs
Eluru: The city units of SFI and DYFI have paid tributes to Jawans killed at Indo-China border recently. The leaders of student and youth federations garlanded portrait of martyr from Telugu states Santosh Babu at SFI office here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, SFI city secretary A Saratchandra said the two countries should respect bilateral accords and protocols to ensure peace at border. As Indian government already convened all-party meeting, it should take suggestions of all and start negotiations between the two countries.
The government should clearly maintain borders so that peace prevails at borders of neighbouring countries, he added. DYFI leader Ravindra also spoke. SFI leader Rakesh, leaders of people's organisations PV Ramakrishna, P Ravikumar, M Srinivas and others were present.
