Energy assistants selection reviewed

Rajamahendravaram: Dsitrict Collector D Muralidhar Reddy reviewed the selection process of energy assistants of Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL) of Rajamahendravaram circle here on Friday.

He asked the circle superintending engineer CH Satyanarayana Reddy and others to select the candidates on merit only. The selections are being held to appoint as many as 583 candidates.

Climbing of electrical poles, riding cycle, taking of meter reading, etc, are part of selection process, he added. Later, he planted saplings at Lalachervu. General manager Koteswara Rao, executive engineer K Tilak and others were present.
