Extend better medical facilities to rural people, DHMO staff told: Joint Collector

Kakinada: East Godavari joint collector Lakshmisha called upon the Para medical staff to extend better medical facilities to rural poor in the district. Reviewing medical and health services at DHMO conference hall on Tuesday, the JC said that at present the district is in 12th place in extending medical services and this should be improved by special effort by medical staff and officers in the district.

Lakshmisha reminded that illiteracy in rural sector and blind beliefs in agency areas leading to several health problems particularly for regiment women in the form of anaemia and lack of nutritious food. The health workers should try their best to overcome these ordeals, the JC said. District immunisation officer Dr Mallik, district community moraliser Mani Kumari amd others participated.
