File review petition on SC reservations, YSRCP demands Centre

Rajamahendravaram: YSRCP leaders staged a dharna with blindfolds at the Gokavaram Bus Station here on Sunday, demanding that the central government file review petitions in the apex court relating to SC reservations.

Participating in the protest programme, SC/ST Commission former chairman Karem Shivaji also asked the central government to add reservations in Article 9 of Constitution for the benefit of SCs.

Party leaders Medapati Sharmila Reddy, TBR Prasad, K Chiranjeevi, A Vasu and others were present on the occasion.
