Floral tributes paid to Phule

Kakinada: CPM activists of East Godavari paid floral tributes to Jyotirao Phule on his 192 birth anniversary, at a programme organised near Ambedkar Bhavan center here on Thursday

The CPM diarist unit secretary K S Srinivas said that Phule strived hard for removing social inequalities in the society and strongly advocated for woman education and for their uplift. CPM leaders Ch Ajay Kumar, K Veerababu, Subrahmanyam and others participated.
