Follow ethics for happiness, students told Nischalananda Saraswathi Ji
Vijayawada: People, who follow truth and ethics will enjoy the true happiness in life, said Nischalananda Saraswathi Ji, Shankaracharya of Puri Govardhana Pitam. Nischalananda Saraswathi was the chief guest at 'Dharma Chaitanya Sabha' organised by KBN College and Kanyaka Parameswari Kalavedika at KBN College here on Saturday. Minister Vellampalli Srinivas and MLA Malladi Vishnu were present on the occasion.
Nischalananda Saraswathi, replying to a question of student, said that people who were following truth and ethics were facing difficulties and people who encourage violence and injustice are leading a happy life.
He said as per Puranans people who follow truth and ethics may face problems but those will be temporary. He said that students should strive hard to reach their goals. Short cuts to reach the goals will be temporary and will face problems in future.
He said that students should know about Sanatana Dharma. Indian Dharma is great and everyone should try to follow it. He further said that as people started to ignore Indian Dharma, joint family culture is slowly disappearing.
When students follow dharma, the tradition of Matrudevobhava, Pitrudevobhava and Acharyadevobhava will remain. Hindu High School committee president and general secretary R Ramaswamy, treasurer Baba Vijaya Kumar, KBN College president V Hemachandra Rao, secretary T Srinivas, treasurer A Ramakrishna Rao and others were present.
