Former CS IYR Krishna Rao criticises pension distribution at doorstep, says no benefit in doing so
Former CS and BJP leader IYR Krishna Rao has made sensational comments on the distribution of pensions to beneficiaries at their doorstep. Commenting on the pension scheme, he made a series of tweets on Sunday.
He wrote, "Is it necessary to distribute pensions at the doorstep when there is vast technology of crediting the amount in the bank accounts." "There is no use in distributing pensions at the doorstep, " IYR added.

On the other hand, YSRCP activists and fans reacted sharply to his tweets. The government has come up with pensions at doorstep only to handover the money to the beneficiaries directly rather crediting in accounts.
The Andhra Pradesh government has set a record by distributing pensions at home through volunteer system on Sunday. The distribution of pensions, which started before dawn, was completed in the afternoon. With the directives of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the distributing of pensions has been taken place for across 13 districts.
