It's just a media elevation, no response from public: IYR Krishna Rao in Amaravati agitation

Update: 2020-02-12 12:13 IST

Former Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh IYR Krishna Rao has made sensational comments of attributing the Amaravati farmers agitation to media management. He said that there is no response to the Amaravati protests except some section of media elevating it. He referred to the Jai Andhra movement, which sparked across the state within the week which is nowhere to be seen in Amaravati agitation.

In this backdrop, the former chief secretary has advised the Jana Sena-BJP alliance to come up with a strategy to go into public to make its presence in the state otherwise, it would affect the prospectus of an alliance.

The alliance between Jana Sena and BJP is known to be formed in January. The two parties have decided to work together and supported the Amaravati movement. They have also decided to fight on behalf of the farmers. Leaders of both parties visited Amaravati a few days ago. Supported the capital farmers. Pawan Kalyan will visit Amaravati on the 15th of this month.
