Former deputy chairman of legislative council Satish Kumar Reddy resigns for TDP

Ahead of local body elections, the opposition TDP is facing the heat with the leaders from yellow camp are queued up to YSRCP. Earlier, it was Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad and Rahman who joined the YSRCP party on Monday. The latest one to follow the suit is Satish Reddy who is the former deputy chairman of the legislative council.

According to the reports, Satish Reddy held a meeting with party activists at his native place in Vempalli Mandal in Pulivendula constituency and decided to resign from TDP. He has reportedly said that the party has ignored his works and commitments and alleged that party chief Chandrababu Naidu had no trust in him.

However, there is no update on his future course of action in the political arena. He is said to take the decision once the elections are over. On the other hand, MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna's close aide has also resigned to the party.
