Four test positive in Old Bowenpally in Hyderabad

Four people of the same family in Abrarnagar of Old Bowenpally division were tested positive for Coronavirus. It is learned that a woman was dead from the family two days ago who is suspected to have infected with the coronavirus.

Authorities have identified around 18 people from the family with suspected coronavirus symptoms. The officials collected their samples and shifted them to quarantine centre.

Meanwhile, In Fatehnagar division of Bharatnagar, two more people tested positive for coronavirus. A man identified as Venugopal Reddy and another woman were found to be infected with the virus.

So far, seven people have tested positive for coronavirus in the colony including a death. With the new cases, the residents of the colony were scared to move out of their houses. Meanwhile, the officials sanitized the areas where the patients reside and are identifying the primary contacts of the patients.

Also, a person from Brudavan colony tested positive for the virus. Following this, six members of his family have been shifted to a quarantine centre. Their test results are awaited.

The state on Thursday reported 352 cases that include 302 in GHMC limits, 17 from Rangareddy, 10 from Medchal and remaining from other districts. With the new cases, the total number of cases in the state jumped to 6,027 and the death toll went up to 195. After discharging 230 people who have recovered, the total recoveries in the state so far has gone up to 3301.
