Guntur: No entry in shops without masks

Guntur: GMC Commissioner Challa Anuradha stressed on need to create awareness on need to wear the masks.

She conducted a video conference with the officials from GMC office in Guntur city on Wednesday. Speaking on this occasion, she said, "There will be no entry to those who do not wear masks into the shops. Restrict entry into shops for those who do not wear masks and collect penalty from those move without masks. Shop owners and staff should wear masks and hand gloves. Make proposed plantation of saplings programme to be held in July in Guntur city."

She urged the officials to motivate people to keep their surroundings clean to check spread of seasonal diseases in the rainy season. She instructed the officials to solve problems of the people as early as possible. If they have problems, in housing, bring them to her notice. She said the aim of the government is to extend helping hand to the people and stressed on need to render better services to the people through the ward Sachivalayams.

GMC additional secretary K Bhagya Lakshmi and deputy commissioner D Srinivasa Rao were among those participated.
