Guntur:Emergency response vehicles for GMC

Guntur: GMC Commissioner Challa Anuradha on Tuesday arranged two emergency response vehicles in Guntur city due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. She handed over one vehicle to Guntur East sanitary supervisor and second vehicle to Guntur West sanitary supervisor at a programme held at GMC office in Guntur city.

Speaking on this occasion, she said that as soon as Coronavirus infection information is received, the vehicles will rush to spot and the staff in the vehicles will take steps to improve sanitation and spray chemicals.

She said that except shops selling essential commodities, other shops should not be opened. She warned that if anybody violates the norms, stern action would be taken against them.

She urged the people to maintain personal hygiene. She directed the staff in the control room set up in the GMC office, inform details of anybody suffering from Coronavirus symptoms to the control room officials.
