Half day schools begin from 15 March in Andhra Pradesh

Amaravati: All government schools to work a half day from 15 March (March) in the state. The class in the school will start from 8 AM to 12:30 PM in all Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad, Municipal Parishad, Aided schools, Primary and High schools.

For the 2018-19 academic year, the schools will be working half day till 23 April. When coming to the private schools, as per the decision of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), and with the permission of the District Education Officer (DEO) the schools will decide whether to run a full day or half day.

The School education commissioner K Sandhya Rani has passed the orders regarding the half day schools to RJDs, DEOs on Thursday.
