Schools to function for half-day from March 16 says Chitra Ramachandran

Hyderabad: School Education Commissioner Chitra Ramachandran announced that all Primary, Upper Primary and High Schools would function for half day during summer from March 16.

As per the orders issued by the School Education Department, the schools will function from 8 am to 12.30 pm during summer from March 16 onwards till last working day, i.e., April 23 of the academic year 2019-20. The schools will be reopened on June 12.

All Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State have been directed to communicate the above orders to the schools functioning under all managements and monitor the implementation.
