Hands-on training for cops yielding results: SP Siddharth Kaushal

Ongole: The Prakasam police announced that after the Superintendent of Police Siddharth Kaushal provided them hands-on training for two days, they have received information of 95 criminals all over the district, including some of them are untraceable for a long time.

SP Siddharth Kaushal conducted a two-day hands-on training programme 'Smart Policing: Online Investigation Tools' as part of the 'Capacity building for a better future' programme.

He explained with the help of a power-point presentation on how to get information with limited details available with them using enterprise search, e-prison search, court checker, criminal intelligence system, third eye search, e-challan search, Google timeline, Spandana and Smart Pulse Survey.

He also trained them in using body-worn cameras for recording visuals during agitations, protests, bando bast and how to track missing persons and unidentified bodies using the criminal intelligence gazette. He made the officials work on the tools and record progress in their daily routine.

In the statement issued from the district police office, the police personnel claimed that they have traced 95 persons using the online investigation tools as trained by the SP.
