The Telangana High Court on Tuesday heard the petition filed by AP CM Jagan seeking personal exemption from CBI cases in the court. CBI has filed a counter objecting Jagan's request while the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing to April 9 following the filing of the CBI counter.
Jagan sought the court in the petition to allow his lawyer Ashok Reddy to appear in the CBI court every Friday as the hearing of 11 charge sheets is being held every week. He explained that he was ready to attend the court in personal attendance if it is compulsory. Jagan approached the High Court after the CBI court dismissing his petition in the past.
