I-Day celebrated at Durga Prasad School
Kakinada: The 73rd Independence Day was celebrated at Durga Prasad School on a grand note on the school premises here on Thursday. The guests of the occasion were school managing director M Santhosh and chief executive officer M Bhanu Priyanka.
Priyanka hoisted Tricolour and received guard of honour from the NCC cadets. The students took oath that they would behave with discipline and strive for the development of the school.
Addressing the students on the occasion, the school MD M Santhosh spoke about the importance of Independence and freedom struggle. He said that the students should concentrate on their studies, get good marks and reach new heights in their career.
The CEO said that the students should perform their duties and safeguard their rights and grow as youth with discipline and make the country proud. Later, the NCC cadets participated in the parade. Cultural programmes were organised. The school principal, Kadambari Priya Kumar, teachers, staff students and parents were present.
