ID cards to all tenant farmers demanded in Kaikaram

Kaikaram: AP Kowlu Rythula Sangham general secretary P Jamalaiah has demanded that the State government issue identity cards to all tenant farmers without linking with the land owner.

He also demanded that the government cover farmers of all castes under Rythu Bharosa scheme to help the poor farmers avail the benefits. He was the chief guest at the second Mahasabha of the sangham upland district unit here on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, he flayed the clause of land owner's consent for issuing identity cards to tenant farmers.

The meeting passed several resolutions for welfare of the tenant farmers. The sangham leaders, K Appa Rao, G Nageswara Rao, K Rambabu, AP Rythu Sangham leader K Srinivas and others spoke.
