TDP national president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu

Amaravati: TDP national president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday accused the ruling YSRCP Ministers and MLAs of setting their sights on six types of lands in the name of the latest drive for resurvey of lands all over the State.

Naidu said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was now eyeing the dotted lands, assigned lands, society lands and such types of lands where there would be scope for litigation. Because of this latest threat, a helpless situation was created now for the people to check the status of their lands every day.

Addressing a video-conference with party in-charges and elected leaders in all 175 Assembly constituencies, the TDP chief expressed concern that with the active support of the Chief Minister, the YSRCP land mafia was ruling the roost all over the State. Land scams worth hundreds of crores were surfacing in all districts from Srikakulam to Chittoor. In the name of land acquisition for free house sites, the ruling party leaders plundered Rs 4,000 crore, Naidu alleged. In the name of levelling those lands, another Rs 2,000 crore of public money was looted.

Naidu called upon all sections of the people to question the YSRCP government on all its illegalities and misdeeds. In the 20 months of Jagan's oppressive regime, all sections of people were being persecuted. The sole agenda of the YSRCP leaders was to harass people in every way possible. The public were terrorised with attacks and atrocities. False cases and false arrests were made against all dissenting voices. The people were being betrayed and looted endlessly.

The TDP chief slammed the Jagan Reddy regime for not taking any action even though the atrocities and murders were taking place on a daily and hourly basis.

The TDP would not keep silent and it would continue its agitation. The TDP would stand by the people in their hour of crisis. Every activist should raise his voice against the Chief Minister, he said.
