Japanese art body chief visits CCVA in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: Yasuyo Yamazaki, president of Art and Culture of Japan Association visited the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCVA) on Sunday.
Dr E Sivanagi Reddy, CEO, CCVA briefed him on the activities of CCVA such as art shows, art cams and residencies, literary programme, monthly dance programme and artisan training programmes and took round the exhibition on Preserve Heritage for Posterity.
Yamazaki said that he liked the Preserve Heritage for Posterity very much and appreciated Y Harish Chandra Prasad, founder and chief mentor of Malaxmi group and chairman of CCVA for his initiative in preserving the culture and traditions of the state.
Chakravarti, CEO, Fortune Capital and M Chimpirayya of Malaxmi group were present, said Sivanagireddy.
