Kakinada: Glowing tributes paid to Dr Ambedkar
Kakinada: Deputy Chief Minister Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose along with Ministers Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao, Pinipe Vishwarup and District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy paid rich tributes to the architect of Indian Constitution 'Bharat Ratna' Dr BR Ambedkar on his vardhanti at Indrapalem Bridge here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, they said that Ambedkar was a world-renowned personality in ensuring justice, liberty and equality to all sections of people. Ambedkar was a champion of the downtrodden and he was the symbol of hard work, love and humanity, a great political thinker, reformer and prolific writer. Dr Ambedkar was a multi-faceted personality, Bose added.
His enduring dedication towards awakening the social conscience of India and advocating for the right to equality for each and everyone will be remembered by generations to come.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the YSRC government was implementing many welfare schemes for the development of the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes in the State.
