Kakinada: Missing Seven-year-old Deepthi Sree found dead in Indrapalem drain

The death of a seven-year-old baby girl in Kakinada has become a tragedy. Deepthi Sree was kidnapped and murdered by stepmother Shanti kumari. The Dharmadi Satyam team found the girls dead body locked up at Indrapalem. The police, who had entered the field on suspicion of and inquired stepmother and arrested. This led to her pleading guilty to the sin. With the help of the Dharmadi Satyam team, the police chanted about Deeptishree in Upputeru river.

The girl's dead body was found at Indrapalem locks. Upon hearing the news of the death, Deepthi's father collapsed at once while the girl's grandmother wept bitterly.

Shyamkumar whose wife Sathyaveni, who lives in Kakinada - Yanam road, died three years ago and is married to a Shanti Kumari from the same village. Their marriage took place two years ago and was given birth to a boy a year ago. With this, the stepmother started torturing Deepthi. Seeing the plight of her granddaughter grad mother is looking after her.

The Panchayat elders said the girl should be paid Rs 2,000 per month. She finally thought of a way to get rid of Deepthi Sree and took her to school in the afternoon of the 22nd of this month. The father complained to police that her second wife took his daughter from school and from thereon the girl went missing.
