Kakinada: Shilparamam handicraft expo inaugurated

Kakinada: The Shilparamam Handicraft and Handloom Exhibition-2020 -cum -sale was inaugurated by District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy at Suryakalamandiram here on Sunday.

He said that such type of exhibitions showcase our culture and traditions which should be taught to the children also. He said that the expo will help to give exposure to the colourful Kondapalli and Etikoppaka toys, handicrafts, embroidery and pottery materials.

Joint Collector G Lakshmisha said that the theme of conducting the mela was to encourage village arts and encourage artisans. Shilparamam Arts, Crafts and Cultural Society Special Officer B Jayaraju also spoke.
