Kerala man takes up bicycle rally to promote environment
Kakinada: A youth from Trissur in Kerala Justin Shazi has taken up bicycle rally across the country for protection of environment and ban of plastic bags. The youth who started at his home place on 15th January so far covered Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and reached Kakinada on Friday pedalled 5,000 kilometres so far.
Disclosing the details here on Friday the youth said that his aim is to cover 10,000 kilometres creating awareness to public on environment protection and need to ban plastic bags as part of this.
Shazi who met National Green core East Godavari coordinator Kesari Srinivasa Rao at MSN Charities School in Jagannaickpur area in the city disclosed the details of his yatra on environment protection and for ban of plastic bags which are effecting protection of environment. Shazi also spoke to schoolchildren and explained his mission. He said that he will reach Kolkata passing through Madhya Pradesh.
