KRU team for Inter-University Cross-Country Race

Vijayawada: Krishna University (KRU) Cross-Country Race men team will proceed to Mangalore to participate in the All India Inter-University Cross-Country Race. The race will be held at Mangalore University at Mangalore in Karnataka from October 6.

Krishna University Inter Collegiate cross-country race championship for men and women was held at Vikas College of Physical Education recently. KRUIC selection committee selected the men team. Coaching camp for the athletes was conducted at Vikas BP Ed college which concluded here on Thursday.

According to Vikas College of Physical Education principal Dr S Raju, the men team will leave Vijayawada on Friday. Vikas BPEd physical director D Ratnababu will accompany the men team as the manager.

J Sankara Rao, NA Venkateshwara Rao, B Madhu, Prasanth Kumar, Satish, Dali Naidu would participate in the All India inter-university cross-country championship, he added.

Vikas educational institutions chairman Naredla Narsi Reddy, secretary and correspondent N Satyanarayana Reddy, Krishna university sports board secretary Dr N Srinivas conveyed best wishes to the team.
