Mekapati Gautam Reddy launches YSR Nirman App, says new industrial policy will be finalized soon

Andhra Pradesh Industry and Commerce Minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy said that they are going to bring the new Industrial policy soon as promised by the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He assured of implementation of all incentives outlined in the policy. Speaking at a launch event of the YSR Nirman App on Wednesday, Gautam Reddy said that the new industrial policy was ready and handed over to CM Jagan to take a final call on it.

The minister said that a new policy was formulated by CM Jagan and measures would be taken to make transparent concessions to industries along with good subsidies to be provided to the industries that provide greater employment. He said the new industrial policy would be in place for three years and would change depending on the conditions of covid.

On the other hand, he assured that cement would be made available to construction companies through YSR Nirman App. The minister further said the study will be conducted with experts in future activities in all sectors, including in the industrial sector, and on the steps to be taken in the coming years.
