MLC Laxman Rao meets AP governor, asks him to terminate APPSC chairman

MLC Laxman Rao has demanded that APPSC chairman Uday Bhaskar be removed immediately. Five MLCs met with Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan on Monday under the auspices of the Progressive Democratic Front. The issued a memorandum on APPSC and Uranium mining. MLC Lakshman Rao later told the media that APPSC chairman Uday Bhaskar was dealing with the dictatorship. In the last five years, millions of candidates lost their valuable time for his actions. He alleged that they changed syllabus every year at his will.

The syllabus of the Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3 exams and the questions in the exam are irrelevant, and all are wrong. Rural candidates were in loss due to negative marks. These issues have been explained to the governor, including evidence. It was also alleged that the test was conducted on the day of Easter. He urged the governor to immediately remove chairman Uday Bhaskar and seek justice for the candidates.

MLC Balasubrahmanyam said that uranium mining in the AP poses a threat to nature. The excavation in Kadapa and Nellore districts has been criticized for causing pollution in the ponds. In a university report on the subject, it is said to have stopped it. MLC Balasubramaniam said the governor had asked the government not to allow any uranium mining.
