Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao says government fulfilled all promises within a year
Guntur: Minister for Agriculture Marketing Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao said that the government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy fulfilled almost all the assurances given to the voters at the time of elections.
He addressed a press conference along with Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita at the Collectorate here on Monday.
He pointed out that the State government had given four lakh jobs within a year besides implementing several welfare schemes for all sections of the people. He further said that the government accorded top priority to agriculture sector.
"The YSRCP government had implemented welfare schemes at a cost of Rs 46,000 crore which benefited 3.8 lakh families in the State," he said. Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita recalled that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy brought about revolutionary changes in the education sector and was striving to improve facilities in the government schools under Mana Badi-Nandu Nedu scheme.
Senior YSRCP leader and MLC Ummareddy Venkateswarulu, MLAs Kilari Rosaiah and Maddali Giridhar Rao were among those who were present.
