New SP conducts crime review meet

Eluru: Navdeep Singh Grewal, who assumed charge as Superintendent of Police has said he will always be available to people. He took charge on Wednesday. Earlier, he worked in Srikakulam district. After taking the charge, he said that people can approach him anytime and he will receive complaints. He informed that grievance cell will be held once in a week in each sub-division.

He sought cooperation of all staff to maintain law and order. He convened a crime review meeting with all police officials of the district. Additional SP Eswara Rao, SB DSP Muralikrishna, DSPs of Kovvuru, Narsapuram, Eluru, Jangareddigudem and Polavaram sub-divisions, Traffic and CCS DSPs and other staff greeted him with flower bouquets.
