No Shave November for awareness on cancer in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Rotary Club of Midtown Vijayawada along with Roots Health Foundation and Social Noise inviting all Vijayawada people to participate in 'No Shave November' cancer awareness programme.

Dr Vijay Bhaskar stressed that 'Early Detection Saves Lives'. Generally all the people suffering from cancer will come to know about the disease at the 3rd or 4th stage. With proper awareness, one can detect the same in early stages.

Rotary Club president P Anil Babu explained about the 'No-Shave November' programme that is being conducted for the awareness among youth and general public. In these programme participants forgo shaving and waxing to raise cancer awareness. G Srinivas Rao from Roots Foundation, Amit Jindal, K Madhavi spoke. The awareness programme will conclude on November 30.
