One Month For Godavari Boat Accident: Extraction Works Resumes

Its been one month for the drastic event of a tourist boat accident that took place at Kacchuluru in East Godavari District. As many as 38 dead bodies retrieved from the accident so far. The ship is yet to be extracted from the river. With this, the government handed over the job to the Balaji marine company headed by Dharmadi Satyam.

However, with the floods at the Godavari river, the extractions works are halted for a week. In the wake of floods disappearing, the Balaji MArine group has started their job in retrieving the boat.

Still, 13 more bodies are yet to be recovered from the incident Dharmadi Satyam team tried to find the boat. The attempt by the Satyam team to retrieve the boat with anchors was not possible due to the excess weight of the ship in the river. The bodies are unable to be identified, while the doctors are going for DNA tests to determine the dead bodies and hand over to the families.
