Open house exhibition launched at SVVU in Tirupati

Tirupati: A three-day open house exhibition commenced at Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University on Friday which was inaugurated by Tirupati MP Balli Durgaprasad. The university has taken steps to disclose its activities to public specially students and teachers to improve their interest in science research.

Addressing the students and city residents , Durga Prasad said that this type of open house exhibition is essential to know the developments in veterinary , dairy and poultry fields. He added that veterinary field is linked with villagers and also city residents in daily life.

So, everyone should know how the scientists are working to improve nutrition food needs through developing the veterinary, dairy, poultry and fishery products, the MP Added.

Earlier, the MP visited the stalls - meat food, milk products and veterinary literature - which were set up by varsity officials. District Collector N Barath Gupta and Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, Director Extension Prof D Srinivasulu, Registrar Srinivas Rao , students and faculty of the SVVU were present.
