Oppostion must unite to fight for SCS
Vijayawada: Chalasani Srinivas, chairman of the Pratyeka Hoda Vibhajana Hamila Sadana Samathi, appealed to all the political parties and the political party which will form the next government in Andhra Pradesh to fight against the Central government to achieve all the promises made in the Bifurcation Act.
Addressing the media here on Friday he said that the Sadhana Samiti has been fighting to achieve the promises made during the bifurcation of the State. He said that all the political parties should unite and fight against the Central government to achieve the common objective of SCS.
He recalled that YCP has given its stand that they would support who gives SCS to the State. Srinivas said that after forming the government and settling down the State government should unite with opposition and other political parties in the State and strive for achieving the promises like Special Category Status to the State and other issues which were assured by the then government.
He further said that the new government should give property to Education as the educational institutions would be reopened next month, Health sector should be strengthened and should be given top priority, he pointed out. He thanked movie artists who extended their support for the fight to achieve the SCS in the State.
