Prakasam SP Siddharth Kaushal bags Gfiles Governance Award

Ongole: Prakasam SP Siddharth Kaushal became the first civil servant in Andhra Pradesh to receive the prestigious Gfiles Governance Award.

The IPS officer, who already bagged numerous national-level awards for his diligence and sincerity in service received the Gfiles Governance Award from the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways and MSME Nitin Jairam Gadkari on Thursday in a scintillating ceremony held at Civil Services Officers Institute, New Delhi.

The Gfiles Award is an annual award presented to civil servants at the national level in India for their extraordinary achievements in governance. This award is constituted by G Files magazine, a national magazine on bureaucracy and governance.

The Gfiles presents this award to only those officers who take the right decision at the right time, who use the latest technology in administration to get very good results and who always work with a positive attitude to serve the public in the best possible way.

The 7th edition of the Gfiles Governance Awards are finalised by the jury consists of former cabinet secretary Prabhat Kumar, former Power Secretary Anil Razdan, former Secretary, internal Security, Home Ministry M B Kaushal and former Chief Secretary of Haryana Vishnu Bhagwan.

The jury selected Siddharth Kaushal and presented the Excellent Contribution Award. Among others selected for the 7th Edition of Gfiles Governance Awards include C V Anand, the CISF IG selected for the Exceptional Contribution Award and Ronald Rose, Mahabubnagar district magistrate and collector selected for the Excellent Contribution Award.
