Rally raises awareness among differently-abled voters says Collector Md Imtiaz

Vijayawada: District Collector Md Imtiaz said that there are about 33,800 differently-abled voters across the district.

The Collector flagged off a rally to create awareness on voter registration for the differently-abled voters here on Tuesday. The rally started from Collector camp office.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that ramps were arranged and wheelchairs were kept handy at the polling centres for the differently-abled.

The disabled youth who attained 18 years of age can register their vote till March 15.

He said that the Election Commission (EC) developed a separate PWD App for the blind and they could get information about the poling centre, information from the Election Commission through that app.

He appealed to all the differently-abled persons who are above 18 years age to fill Form- 6 and register their vote.
