Ready give a befitting reply to Show Cause Notice of YSRCP: Raghu Rama Krishna Raju

Amaravati: Sticking to his criticism on the corruption practices of the party leaders, the YSRCP Narsapuram Lok Sabha Member K Raghu Rama Krishna Raju is contemplating to give a befitting reply to the Show Cause notice given by the party General Secretary and Rajya Sabha Member V Vijayasai Reddy. The party has issued a Show Cause notice to him seeking an explanation for his earlier comments on the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, State government, Ministers, MLAs and others, on Wednesday.

The party stated that Raghu Ramakrishna Raju has shown a disinclination to being a primary member of the party, which discernible from various statements made by him on many party and government programmes in the State and he has publicly adopted a stand discordant with the YSRCP line. It pointed out the comments of the Lok Sabha member including on introduction of English medium schools, allegations on MLAs that they are resorting to the looting of sand, his remarks decentralized development of the State. Vijayasai Reddy also asked for an explanation for his derogatory comments on the leadership of party chief Jagan, especially mentioning the words. The words "evvari nayakatvam naaku kavali? Bochhulo Nayakatvam?" uttered by the Narsapuram MP, mentioned in the Show Cause notice and the party has given a week time for this reply.

Reacting on this development, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju said with The Hans India over a telephone conversation that he would give a befitting reply to the notice within a couple of days. He maintained that he never used filthy language against Jagan. He further said that when it comes to the TTD lands sales remarks, the government itself withdrew the proposal and in those circumstances, what was the explanation expecting the party from him, he questioned. With regard to the English Medium remarks, he said that he did not criticise the State government and he only spoke about the Telugu language. He said when certain party MLAs and other leaders provoked him; he raised his voice against them only. Further, he made it clear that he will give a reply to each and every allegation levelled on him by the party during his response. In fact, some of the party leaders themselves have been creating an unfriendly environment for him in the party and he did not have any intention to leave the YSRCP.
