Retired employees pillars of organization: Andhra Bank AGM
Ongole: The development of the bank is with the contribution of the employees who are retired now and the present employees are grateful to them, announced the Andhra Bank main branch AGM C Chandra Reddy. He participated as the chief guest to the meeting held at the conference hall of the Andhra Bank main branch in Ongole on Thursday.
The retired employees started the meeting after garlanding the founder of the bank, Bhogaraju Pattabhi Seetharamaiah and paying tributes to him. The AGM said that the Andhra Bank was spread to 300 branches and is having a business of Rs 3.98 lakh crores due to the efforts of the senior employees who are retired now.
He said that the present employees are grateful to the seniors for the development of the bank. The Prakasam district president of the Andhra Bank Retired Employees Association, UV Ratnam, secretary CB Rao, state executive member PK Rajeswara Rao explained about the details of the APBRF general body meeting held in Vijayawada last month, retired employees problems and pension of their families.
The treasurer V Parthasaradhi, ad hoc committee member T Sambaiah, senior member P Anjaneyulu, V Madhusudan Rao, T Subba Rao and others spoke in the meeting. They also decided to meet again in the next month.
