Revoke Dr Sudhakar suspension unconditionally: TDP
Amaravati: After an inhuman treatment met by Dr Sudhakar Rao in Vizag, the issue took legal and political colour. On the one hand, the High Court ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation to probe it, the other hand, the TDP criticised the YSRCP government for suppressing SCs in the State.
Addressing at a virtual press conference on Friday, TDP leader and former minister KS Jawahar demanded the Government to reinstate the suspended Dr Sudhakar without setting any preconditions and stop harassing his family members immediately.
Another leader Devineni Umamaheswara Rao deplored that the Government waived Rs. 187.80 Cr worth power bills for the industrialists while not extending a similar gesture for poor people who were suffering financially due to Coronvirus impact.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy should answer for his inefficiency and negligent attitude that forced police in three districts including Kadapa, Guntur and Visakhapatnam to face CBI probes.
Uma demanded the CM to explain to the people why his Government suffered setbacks in over 64 cases in the High Court and Supreme Court. He said that YSRCP unveiled another big scam to hand over Rs. 500 Cr worth sand works in Polavaram project to its favoured contractors.
MLC P Ashok Babu appealed to the Central Government to take a deep look at how the court's orders were not being implemented and how the top constitutional institutions were being crippled in the state.
