SFI stages dharna at MRO office

Tuni: Members of the Student Federation of India (SFI) staged dharna at MRO office here on Tuesday, demanding that the government address the pending issues.

Speaking on the occasion, Tuni division SFI committee secretary G Ramu said that though two months passed after reopening of educational institutions, pending scholarships, fee reimbursement, hostel, mess and cosmetic charges pertaining to the previous academic year were not paid.

The SFI leader demanded for immediate release of the pending bills. Later, the SFI delegation submitted memorandum to Tuni Mandal Tahsildar Pallavi with a request to forward the same to the higher authorities.
