Shilparamam Craft Bazaar attracting visitors in Guntur
Guntur: 'Shilparamam Craft Bazaar-2019' at the TTD Kalyana Mandapam here is attracting visitors. This exhibition was sponsored by Development Commissioner, Union Ministry of Textiles.
Wood carvings, Rosewood items, Kalamkari paintings, Kondapalli and Etikoppaka toys, brass and copper artistic metal castings, Crochet Lace, Hyderabad Pearls, imitation jewellery, leather items, jute bags, blue pottery, Rudraksha, banboo pooja items and Eluru carpets were on display.
As many as 44 stalls were set up in the exhibition. The exhibition will continue till December 4 and it will open from 11 am to 9 pm. Speaking to 'The Hans India', Handicrafts Promotion Officer (Shilaparamam, Vijayawada) D Pardhasaradhi said stalls were allotted to SC artisans to provide marketing facility to handicrafts. He urged the residents of Guntur city to avail the facility, extend support and cooperate.
