TDP releases charge sheet against alleged corruption in YSRCP Govt

Amaravati: The TDP lambasted the YSRCP government for its alleged corruption and atrocities on the opposition party leaders and cadre during the first year governance. The opposition party released a Charge Sheet against the one-year governance of the YSRCP party, on Monday titled as "One Chance for Destruction".

The TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh, former Minister Kollu Ravindra and others participated in this programme, held at the party headquarters in Mangalagiri.

Lokesh criticised that the ruling party leaders have no moral right to talk about the welfare of AP people since not even one of its 'Navaratnalu' cash transfer promises was implemented 100 per cent in the past one year.

He said just like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) framed a charge sheet listing out Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's scams worth Rs. 1 lakh crore during his father's rule, the TDP now issued the present charge sheet. He criticised that Jagan indulged in even larger corruption in his capacity as Chief Minister.

The so-called Navaratnalu was turned into a bundle of scams and lies, he alleged. The TDP termed the house sites distribution scheme as one of the biggest scams in the country itself and every ruling party leader indulged in corruption in this scheme.

Constitutional violations and human rights violations were rampant in the last one year. Farmers and civil construction workers committed suicides and liquor mafia literally ruling the State, he alleged. The TDP stated that Jagan was implementing Raja Reddy's Constitution but not the Constitution of India.

The State government was purchasing electricity by spending Rs 11 per unit which was another scam, he termed.
