Tirupati city development is the top priority of govt: MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy

Tirupati: MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said that Tirupati city infrastructure development is the top priority. On Monday MLA Bhumana has inaugurated many developmental works and laid the foundation stone for few more works at Postal Colony, Lakshmipuram, Narayanapuram in Tirupati city.

MLA first inaugurated drainage which was completed at cost of Rs 2.44 crores between Ambedkar Law College to Lakshmipuram. And also he inaugurated five more roads which were constructed by MCT recently at cost of Rs 50 laksh. Later MLA laid foundation stone for four roads construction at 5 wards in the postal colony at cost of around 50 laksh.

In this connection, MLA said that YSRCP government is giving top priority for providing civic amenities. In view of that today MCT took up few more roads construction in the interest of stakeholders benefit, he added.

He told before the drainage construction Lakshmipuram and Narayana Puram people had been suffering from drainage problem, now that was cleared by civic body. As part of city all-round development laying of new roads, construction was taken up by the MCT in all the 50 wards, there was no funds scarcity for city development, MLA Bhumana stated.

In the program Commissioner PS Girisha, Deputy Commissioner Chandramouleswar Reddy, Superintending Engineer Mohan, Executive Engineer B Chandrashekar and other officials took part.
