Tirupati: Dakshinamurthy Sarma of RSVP made Annamacharya project director
Tirupati: Prof S Dakshinamurthy Sarma of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) in Tirupati has been appointed as Annamacharya Project Director. He will be in office as Director for one year. He took charge on Friday from the in-charge Director and Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad Secretary Prof K Rajagopalan.
TTD has established Annamacharya project in 1978 to propagate the Tatwa and Mahatwa of Lord Venkateswara and Annamacharya Sankeertanas. Prof Sarma has been presently working in the Education department of RSVP.
He is the son of renowned Telugu scholar Vidwan Singaraju Sachidanandam and a disciple of Veturi Prabhakara Sastri. The Vice Chancellor of RSVP Prof V Muralidhara Sharma, Registrar Prof GSR Krishna Murthy and other faculty have congratulated Prof Dakshnimaurthy on his elevation.
