Tirupati doc elected to State body of physicians

Tirupati: Senior physician Dr P Krishna Prasanthi has been elected as Vice-President of the AP State Physicians Association in the elections held in Visakhapatnam at a convention being organised there for three days during September 13-15.

About 800 physicians and MD General Medicine students are attending the event. Dr Ramana Rao of Visakhapatnam was elected President of the Association while Dr KSR Swamy of Kakinada was made Secretary.

Dr Krishna Prasanthi has thanked former Vice-Chancellor of Dr NTR University of Health Sciences Dr IV Rao, Dr MBR Sharma and Dr Alladi Mohan for electing her for the post. She has delivered a lecture on hypothyroidism and obstacles in diagnosis of the disease.
