Tirupati: Senior physician elected president of APDF

Tirupati: Senior Physician and national convenor of IMA standing committee on Control of Diabetes, New Delhi Dr Penna Krishna Prasanthi has been elected as president of Andhra Pradesh Diabetes Federation (APDF) for one year.

APDF annual meeting was held in Kakinada on Sunday in which 585 diabetologists from across the State have participated. She took the charge in the meeting in the presence of Dr GS Murthy of IMA, Dr Kandula Sai, Dr Venkatarathnam, Dr Satyanarayana Murthy, Dr Vinay and Dr PV Rao on Sunday.

The meeting also resolved to hold the next state convention in Tirupati in August 2020.
