Tirupati: Rich tributes paid to former Speaker Agarala Eswar Reddi
Tirupati: Rich tributes were paid to former Speaker of united AP, Dr Agarala Eswar Reddi, in Tirupati on Thursday.
He breathed his last on February 16. Prof A Ranga Reddy, Chairman of Indian Institute of Public Administration, Tirupati Local Branch presided over the meeting held at SVIMS.
Speaking on the occasion, former V-C of SV University Prof R Rama Murthy described Eswar Reddi as a gentleman in politics and erudite scholar and philanthropist to the core. Former V-C of Dravidian University Prof PV Arunachalam highlighted Dr Reddi's virtues and contributions.
Prof MA Hussain said that Dr Reddi was a secular, simple and social human being and a great humanist. Prof KM Naidu, Dr C Swarajya Lakshmi, son of Dr Reddi, A Jagan Mohan Reddy, Prof KL Narasimha Rao, Prof D Krishna Murthy, Dr Y Raghava Reddy, P Raja Reddy, Dr A Samanthakamani and others also spoke on the occasion.
